ARC - 100yd Hunter Benchrest Match - RESULTS for "The Watermelon Match"
11 Shooters , 7 VFS , 4 Hunter
After the early morning showers passed, it was pleasant shooting , temps in the upper 70's, cloudy and an unusual SW breeze 5-7.
John Gallaher wins the top spot in Hunter rifle with a 250-12X. Tommy Maedgen gets 2nd with a 250-9X. Honorable mention goes to Curt Gallaher with his 15X, but an early crossfire took him out.
Welcome back to Charles Kirkpatrick after being away awhile.
And we now have a new champion of the 3rd Annual ARC Watermelon Match....Steve Young! His 250-19X wins the title and edged out Robert Rongero by 1X. They were tied goin into the last match and Steve shot a clean 5X for the win. Robert shot 4X's for a 2nd place finish. Congrats to Virgil for a 250-14X 3rd place finish...his 1st 250 in a while.
Then we all enjoyed a cold watermelon and talked about all those X's that got away.
