ARC - 100 yd Hunter/VFS Benchrest Match - Jan 26,2020
15 Shooters - 5 Hunter, 10 VFS
After the fog lifted and the wind turned North from 8-12 it was another pleasant shooting day in the Texas hill country. Good turnout and lots of good scores. Don Mulhall wins the Hunter Rifle 1st place prize turning in a 250-12X. Close behind was Tommy Maedgen at 249-10X for 2nd, on his 70th birthday. 3rd place is John Gallaher with a 247-11X.
Dr. Steve Young continues his hot shooting with a 250-18X for 1st place in the VFS group. 2nd place was Steve Krause at 250-15X, seemingly forever behind Dr. Young. And Marlon Goates takes 3rd at 250-12X. We welcome new shooter Bill Sparks at his first score shooting match with his 6PPC and only dropping 1 point on his 1st target, 249-10X.
After the match we awarded the club's top scores for 2019, Dr. Steve Young with the Best Score in VFS, a 250-20X ; and Curt Gallaher gets Best Hunter score at 250-16X. (Steve on left, Curt right)

We continue our match schedule in 2020 on the last Sunday of each month. We start at noon......EXCEPT May, June, July and August will start at 10 am to avoid the summer temps of 100+.
