It was a hot match today hovering around 104! We had 9 VFS shooters although Joe shot his Hunter gun with us using his 6X scope. A new young shooter Cody did very well in his first benchrest match finishing in the middle of the pack. A number of targets had ties today but when the smoke cleared Curt Gallaher anchored the 1st place prize of $20.

Next months match will be Sunday Aug 27 starting about 12:30 pm. Will post a reminder here about a week prior.

Anyone know what is a .257 Ted and what bullet did he shoot ?
I was more than a little surprised to see 30-40 Krag. Anyone what action he was shooting.

Can't comment on Ted's bullet, but the 30-40 Krag custom barrel is screwed into an Enfield action dated around 1917.

The 257 Ted is a 25 ppc with the shoulder pushed forward .075. I shoot the BIB 88 gr
