We started with overcast skies today with a fairly consistent NEast breeze....until Match #4 when the skies opened up and just poured down rain, HARD RAIN and everyone had something to say about that. Last match was wet also but not as bad. And one good thing about these new styrofoam targets (yes, only one), they float!
We had 8 VFS shooters today with Robert Rongero winning the agg again with 250-16X. Good shooting for the downpour. Steve Krause placed 2nd with 250-15X and Dr Steve Young got 3rd with 249-15X.
Unfortunately, with the rain, we discovered a previously unknown leaky roof right above bench #6 where Dr Young was shooting. This game is hard enough without getting soaked, I mean really soaked, along with all of your equipment. It cost him at least one point. Had to switch benches to finish.
Next match is March 25, starting at noon
