14 shooters - 12 VFS, 2 Factory Rifles
Stepped up our usual last Sunday of the month match due to Holidays. Beautiful conditions mostly in the 70's, sunny and almost dead calm at the start. But the breeze did get switchy starting in match 3. With 3 best targets of 50-5X, Big Steve Brown takes 1st place with 250-21X, his best score ever. Steve Krause gets 2nd, clean with 19X. 3rd place goes to Bill Sparks at 250-17X. Paul Shanklin had the highest Factory Rifle score with a 240-2X and Mike Cerekwicki finished at 220-1X.
Scoresheet correction: Tally shows a tie for best target on Match 3. Actually there was a 3 way tie at 50-4X. Mayhem broke out. A revolt was avoided after reversing the error and properly following our club tiebreaker rule (miss and out). The best target was awarded to Bill Sparks. Scorekeeper Krause apologizes for the oversight.
Just a gorgeous December day that everyone enjoyed.
We'll have our annual Best Shooter Awards at next years January match on the 28th, starts at noon.
