ARC 100 yd Match for Score
19 Shooters - 12 VFS, 3 Hunter, 4 Factory
Relatively acceptable conditions for an August match in Texas....low 90's, slight breeze, bright and sunny. But the shooters were the HOT topic today. Top of the heap was Larry Kochanowicz with a great score of 250-23X to tie our club record. That's the 3rd tie this year of the record. 2nd place VFS was Charles Moore with a 250-21X and 3rd place was a tie between Big Steve Brown and Don Mulhall with their 250-17X. Steve wins the tiebreaker with the better 2nd Match score.
Hunter rifle class was won by John Gallaher with a 248-11X while his brother Curt gets 2nd at 247-7X. The Factory rifle 1st place was Joe Schoch at 242-3X returning to shoot his 2nd match using a beautiful Rem 700 BDL in 22-250 hvy barrel. And we welcome his wife Julie entering her first match ever. 2nd factory was John Price with a 241-4X with his 223 Rem.
