Weather was great with the usual 20mph vectoring tail wind. Steady Steve Young shot a terrific 250/21X to show the way. Virg shot in the VFS class only to discover his mistakes show up "instantly" without having to look through a spotting scope.

See ya all next time...

Thanks, Jackie. We missed you.........but it worked to my advantage.

That was some pretty good shooting, Steve! Sorry I missed it, but as you said today, I "chickened out" Yep, I chose to have a nice brunch with my wife to celebrate our anniversary instead of slinging lead with you guys. If you keep that stuff up, Steve, you're gonna get another VFS coffee mug this year, unless Jackie keeps doing his thing!

Hope to see everyone at this month's match!

Dennis

Congrats to you and your much better half on your anniversary, Dennis. I just want to be certain everyone who reads this understands that you and I were trading joking smackdowns when I accused you of chickening out. We all know better.

Steve

Been there. Done that. Was getting ready for Tomball Oct. shoot. Hey stupid your Anniversary is Sunday!! Put the dies away and went and kissed her.

Steve,

I just want to apologize for my poor social skills yesterday as we were exchanging those smackdowns. I completely missed the fact that you had someone else in the car with you besides Killer your dog. My guess is that she is your granddaughter? I think it's great when shooters bring their kids/grand kids to the range. Jackie brought his daughter, or was that "middle daughter" back in January, and she provided a fabulous banana nut bread. It's so heart-warming to have the families there, isn't it?

Dennis

Dennis,
I actually had TWO lovely ladies in the car with me. It was my birthday, and to make me happy both my wife and one of my daughters came out with me to unlimber their Glocks and Kahrs. it was a memorable day.

Steve,

Congratulations on the win. We are up in Virginia hanging out with a house full of Duke fans just to see UNC beat Duke. Double cheers for you.
