Austin Rifle Club Dec Match Cancelled

AGAIN due to a forecast of strong winds and 1-3 inches of rain, the ARC match for 27 Dec is cancelled. A 3 inch rain has a strong potential of flooding the range. I don't want to take the chance of having those who drive a good distance to attend this match being a flood victim. Unfortunately, this is the fifth time I've had to cancel a match. The most in over 20 years of running it. Let's hope for a clear Jan 31st.

On a lighter note; Dennis Boyce was hi VFS shooter for 2015 with a 250 22X (with a 6BR). Curt Gallaher was the hi Hunter shooter with a 250 11X. Congrats to both.

For running the Austin Texas Benchrest matches (for over 20 YEARS) .....and for giving me the opportunity to dust off my old bench rifles to play with the big boys in 2015. Definitely looking forward to the first match in 2016, and maybe a new barrel chambered in 30BR by late Summer.
