The Arkansas State Championship was held this past weekend at Pencil Bluff,Ark.

We had a small turnout for this match(10 Shooters),but we had a great time.

Thanks to Match Director John Henry, Ray Porter and Joe McNeil for putting this match together. The fellowship and good food,made up for the low attendance. John Henry's Wife, Remy, is a great cook. She laid down some really tasty dishes. I promised the organizers that i would make an effort to attend this small match. Happy I Did.

Joe Hargadine won the two Gun in some pretty tough conditions.

Glenn, as always, it was great that you could attend the match. Only 10 shooters but several were on their game
including you, Ray Porter, Matt Owens, Richard Watson and Joe Hargadine. We had the usual tricky winds and
changing conditions but some very small groups were shot. Good to see Tim Henderson from KC again this year
and I hope to see everyone (and a few more) in August when we shoot the second leg with LV/HV at 100/200 yards.
Congratulations to all the yardage winners and to Joe on the 2 gun win.

I hate I missed it. So did Jay Lynn. I've been obligated to the Shilen Swap ,Meet since I instigated it 11 years ago.I plan on being there in August. One of the best matches that I have attended.
