Dears,
Have been cleaning 300 J4 .30 jackets today.
I use some kind of "RCA clean" that concists in 3 successive bathes of acetone, 20 minutes exposure per bath with 3 shakings during each of the 20 minutes long bath.
I am very much surprised to see such an amount of dirt in bathes 1 and 2, knowing that any lubricant remaining on/in the jackets have been dissolved by the acetone. So that's some kind of a solid remaining here.
Does this appear usual to you or do I have some kind of a dirty batch ?
Thank you.
Olive.
