I am involved with a rather large company who buys 300 mill plus in products a year to distribute in western canada, an industrial supply chain of stores,
the industrial paper (NAMELY TOILET PAPER) is set to explode, the industrial wipers section of paper towels and shop towels is set to double this year,
we put in an order for the year totalling 3 million at wholesale prices for may and august delivery (62 truckloads) and have rented space in our new warehouse and are removing a dozen truck bays to accomodate this product,
the interesting thing is the vp of operations once they got our order (as there is few companies who can afford to pay cash to get a 1.6 % discount on product paid for upon shipping) called to chat I was in the ofice with GG and the call was on the speaker phone,
this gent said toilet paper will quadrouple in the next 12 months, seems the tooling has to be redone and they will do it during this recession, toilet paper shortages throughout the western world,
his comment is to have a years supply on hand as your relatives will be at your door,
THINK I AM KIDDING WAIT UNTIL YOU NEED SOME,
MINE WILL SELL 400 % OVER RETAIL AT GUN SHOWS THROUGHOUT THE PROVINCE,

As far as the air, just finished filling out the forms to become a filling station.

After a little thought, the whole joke became a little poignant to me... the fact that these things, which in the recent past could be easily dismissed, are now actually things that we need to ponder as far as if they are real or not.
