anyone hear anything on the chippewa match? did they have it?

i was going to call,but did'ent want to bother.
did they have the reg/match or did they get flooded out?
 
They had it. Great weather. Light switchy winds. Gene Buckys won 2 gun.
 
I just spoke with Lou Murdica. He took third in the 2 gun. I forgot to ask who took second. Perhaps someone will give us more complete information. The reason that I mentioned Lou is that I know he is shooting a tuner. I asked him if Gene was shooting his, and he said that he was. My point being that while they are no substitute for shooter skill, or any of the other myriad of requirements for winning accuracy, it would seem that tuners are here to stay.
 
Did it get sponsored by SEB?

There was some talk earlier this year about SEB possibly sponsoring the match. There was no publicity about same.

No, I don't sponsor the Chippewa or other match. I can't afford the expenses for now.... perhaps in the future.
I just donated a rest to the Supershoot for prize & as memorial to Paul Schmid.
