That #%*¥£* Pea Gravel is GONE.

We replaced it with decomposed granite. Much easier on the legs.

Sounds good but what does granite become when it decomposes?

It looks like brown dirt to me, but it sure beats that pea gravel.

Unless you have ever walked on pea gravel for an entire week end of shooting, (or a few hours), it's difficult to capture what your legs feel like that eavning, and the next morning.

I went to an IBS

score national years ago at Palmisano's range. It had crushed rock for ground cover under the loading and firing areas. By the end of the day my feet were killing me. Nice range otherwise. Not sure if its even being used now that he's gone.

Tomball

Good news from Tomball. walking in that Pea gravel, ground cover, was kinda like walking in knee deep snow. Never walked on decomposed granite. I’m sure it’ll be a big improvement over pea gravel.

18 years ago,I viewed walking in the pea gravel at Tomball as a good physical workout. With the onset of advanced stage arthritis, it has now become a noticeable handicap for this senior citizen.

as I get older, I have come to appreciate the availability of Golf Cart rentals near the Seymour,Tx Benchrest Range. $10.00 per day for a cart. A golf cart is quite handy at a Benchrest match, especially for those who have physical mobility issues. Just saying.
