That seems a little tight to me. I'd want a freebore diameter of at least .0005" over bullet shank diameter. However, just because the freebore diameter is printed as .2433" on a chamber print doesn't mean that's what it cuts. If barrels chambered with the reamer shoot well with your bullet combination then it's not a problem. If they don't shoot well, then I'd either get a reamer with a larger freebore diameter or I'd shoot a bullet that has a smaller shank diameter.

Tim, take a small hole gage or similar and measure your ACTUAL freebore diameter.

(Probably most shooters don't know what the reamer ACTUALLY cut)

Then measure the loaded case neck diameter to see what it ACTUALLY is and go from there.

Most shooters shoot with 0.0008" to 0.0025" clearance and I dare anyone to tell the difference on paper.

The neck sizing bushing will vary depending on the powder used.

This reamer shoots good with with George and Barts bullets.
Mine are coming out a little fatter than theirs by a tenth or so
I'll add a little more lube see if I can get closed to 2436 and 2432

OK, if you gotcherself a steel rod and gently PUSHED the bullet into engravure with the lands it would require 550lb of push. So now.......if you set the bullet on the table and gentry lowered a 550lb BRICK onto it, you think it might would swell a tenth or two?

Jus' sayin'

Tim - are you saying that your bullets don't shoot as well as some others in that barrel/chamber?

Yea
I think i figured it out tho.
My fatter bullets in the same cases had me to tight in my chamber. I turned some new cases with a little more neck clearance things shot much better yesterday
