Acvuracy at 50 degree and below

Ive read that the lube doesnt distribute well on a cold barrel. Is there a twist rate, barrel brand type of rifling or anything that improves cold weather accuracy?

It is designed to shoot accurately at below zero temps.

I shot Lapua Polar Biathlon and Biathlon Extreme today at 60 up to 65*. About 1 in 10 rounds from both had high velocity “Cracks” - supersonic. the listed velocity for the biathlon ammo is 1106; CenterX is 1073, explains the “crack”. And I’m shooting at 8000 ft elevation.

Neither shot as well in my 40x as Pistol King which never has a high velocity crack.

I’ll try again when it gets below freezing. Guessing the velocity will be lower at low temperatures as it’s designed for biathlon.

Anyone have experience with this ammo at cold temperatures?
