We had N.E. winds which aren't normal this time of year & near the end of the match just about everyone figured out that the last flag was the important flag to determine where that shot was going to fall.
We had a great turnout today - some heading away from the storms to enjoy a match. Y'all be sure & come back.
Allen Taylor won 1st place in Senior Unlimited with a 191 agg, winning the tie breaker on the 3rd target with Paul Dyer & losing the tie breaker with Mark Demarest on the last target. His high & the high for the day was a 193.
Darek Biggs WOULD HAVE taken 2nd place in the Senior Unlimited with a 189.25 agg; except he is a Junior Unlimited shooter. Great shooting Darek - just goes to show he has gained the skill and now with a performing rifle, a lot of the older folks are talking about what he is going to bring to the bench n the next couple of years.
Great Shooting!
Mark Demarest was 2nd & Paul Dyer was 3rd in the Senior Unlimited.
Ron Herring took 1st place in Senior Factory with an agg of 182.25 and a high for the day in that division with a 185. John Pormann was 2nd & David Strother was 3rd.
Results are attached. Our next match will be Sept. 23rd - hope to see y'all there
