Ok should I shoot Boat tails are Flat base bullets? I've heard that Flat base are easier on a BBL? Today Berger 62gr Match shot tight groups. Will those work on a 500 yard coyote? Also I have a bunch of 55gr Berger Match bullets will my 8" twist blow them apart?

typically flat base bullets are easier to tune to a gun. actually one doesnt need a boat tail bullet till they shoot to 500 yards and beyond. so shoot what your gun like best and have fun. dont sweat the trivial stuff. Greg Moyer

Is yours a 1-14" ?

I was going to suggest Sierra 65 " Varminter".
Perhaps only workable ins 1-12, or better.......

Even tried those ?

I shot the Berger 60 & 65 on yotes

Your 62 is on the same length jacket and will do a splendid job at 500 yards!
