Mike,

There is no equivalent ADI powder for IMR8208...from what I can gather from information on this site it seems it's somewhere between Benchmark and Varget.

Aw

Steve I woz just givin em sumat ter ponder in the cabin this winter.Oh well guess I can come up with somathing else.:)

I heard a rumor awhile ago that the 8208 was a lot the maker had "on Hand" that wasn't in their paramaters to put in their normal line so it was an imediate fit :), imagine that! Having the Holy Grail in one's hands and not know it or not know what shooters reallllly wanted; boggles the mind!

ok, i have quickload software. it does not have 8208. it does ave a the list of aid powders i put in my post. i was hoping there was a match to 8208 so i could play with load data.

Mike,

If we had the equivalent here in OZ we would have let you all know when it came over there...from what i've been told it is a powder used for loading military ammo in 223 and maybe 308 by ADI...it is not available to us and not sure if it ever will be.

Jim,

Sorry to spoil your fun...I'm a little slow on the uptake.

There is a an update to quickload that has 8208 included. It's $14.95 plus shipping at NECO. Give Ed Dillon a call and get upgraded.

There has been an unwritten rule on thif forum for years not to rag on others for spelling errors. It has worked great so far.
