A line I can't steal....

As some of you know I like to steal others' lines.... or ask "'kin I use that?" or "Whish't I'DA Said That!!"




So my Dad passed recently......some of us kids were over at Mom's today, the talk was of adjusting to the new quiet house and wrapping up Dad's affairs etc.......just Mom and some kids discussing this new phase of life......my brother and sister-in-law are heading out the door to fly back to the other end of the continent and sis gets in close with Mom and hands her a little packet and I hear "Mom, this is not grocery money"....

"it's earmarked".....

"you can only use it for a headstone or a parakeet....."




I'll just never get a chance to use that

I realize that sharing this is kinda' like sharing pics of ones grandkids..... but my hope is that perhaps those of you who've lost loved ones recently will find it endearing as I did.
