Aimed more toward the guys with experience with the 6PPC and 222Rem.
How much are you really giving up to the 6PPC, all else being equal. For the sake of argument - lets say someone was interested in 100/200yrd LV for group. How much disadvantage will they realize if they go with 52g bullets in the 222 over the 6? More specifically, using the modern equipment and practices the 6 enjoys, could the 222 be competitive on a local/regional level?
I'm curious because I'd really like to build a retro style BR gun in 222 (or even 222 Rem Mag) for fun.
