Has anyone got a 6mmAI that they shot as a 6mm Rem first? Real world pros & cons?

I had a 700 VLS in 6MM shot it for a while with 80gr blitz and it really did a job on paper and hogs. I since had it blueprinted and rebarreled and chambered for a 6mmAI. I use a 1:14 twist Krieger, 75gr VMAX and 52 grs of N160 and I am getting 3860 FPS with that load and its AWSOME!! I will never look back!!! Its my favorite A.I. cartridge. Only minor thing is another set of dies.

I also had a 6mm Rem 700 VS that I blueprinted and re-barreled to a 6AI. 28" Hart 1:9 twist. I shoot the 107s/105s at 3200 fps (can go much faster) and the 95 Berger VLDs at 3400 fps. I don't know how long this barrel is going to live but it is the best grouping +300 yd gun I have every owned. I have several thousand 6mm Rem brass so I have no problem finding a uniform set of brass.
If are going to do it, I recommend spending the extra bucks and replacing the factory barrel with a custom. Most factory tubes will just not stand up to the accuracy potential of the 6AI.
I am a P.O. Ackley fan. A have a 22-250 AI that is outstanding as well.
