I would like to know the best load for the 6mm remington out to 600 yards.

95 Berger VLD

I have had great luck with 95 Berger VLDs in my 1:9 twist using RL22 and IMR4350. I have had 3 identical Rem 700 6mm Rem with the 1:9.25 twist. Two would not stabilize the 107 SMK, but one would and it shoot them outstanding. A 1:9 twist is right on the edge for the 6mm Rem and the 107 SMK. My 1:9 twist 6mm Rem AI shoots the 107 SMK and the 105 AMax great. RL-19, RL-22, and IMR4831 all work well.

As stated above, what is your twist?

I have just started playing with the 105 AMax, but for the money I feel it is a good buy, but you need a 1:9. I know a couple of people with 243s in 1:10 that couldn't shoot them.

its a remington 700 with 1 in 9 twist, and the 105 berger to start.

The 105 VLDs are harder to stabilize than the 107SMK. You can't be sure until you try them in your barrel, but I think the odds are against you. I would strongly encourage you to take a look at the 95 VLDs. They don't give up much in B.C.

I wsould give H4831SC a try, in both of my sporter grade 6mm Rem's it has produced outstanding results. Don
