i have about 75 pcs of 220 cases from the 1985 time frame before lapua was making them.my question is what is the differance between them as far as dementions and can they the older case be shot in a rifle made in 1995 that shot lapua cases in ?
 
This brass is ok to use but do not use the loads they are currently using as it will not take the pressure that the newer brass will. Stick to the loading manuals or fairly close to recommended loads. Dimensionally they will need to be fire formed to the 6ppc chamber dimension and neck turned to get the proper fit if this is a tight necked chamber.
