Just looking at buying a new reamer, so i can get some custom dies etc.
as i have a few barrels that i have used my gunsmiths reamers, and ended up with two different chambers!
With my current setup i am using redding dies and do not have a great fitment.
All input appreciated,

pic the chamber you like the best, and send some fired cases to harrels along with 75 bucks. easy peazy!! lee

lee,
looking for some reamer specs that work well,
do you fire form dry or with lube?

ive never used any lube to blow a case out, ever. Don't know the first think about it. I do neck up to 6.5 then back down to 6mm to create a false shoulder. works well. lee

Lee what FF length do you get?

I will have to look. I don't don't shoot the dasher much so I don't recall. I will let you know when I go out to the shop next. Lee

I get a consistent blow at 1.550 - 1.553 in almost any barrel i'm breaking in and my fire form barrel……… jim

Varied length when forming

I can not get near that length, i am getting 1.527"-1.535" when running in a barrel. I have been using the false shoulder without any lube.
what bullet weight are you using to FF?
I have noticed that when the load is a bit light the length is shorter?
i have been trying to use up a few odd bullets and powder, but i think i will stick to one load to try to get a more uniform length.
I have only fired 10 so far but am not happy with the results.
