6mm creedmoor for 500 yard competition

Getting ready to start building a savage rifle for 500yard benchrest groundhog matches and trying to figure out what caliber I want to go with. Been reading up alot on the 6mm creedmoor but would like to know some first hand experience with this round and how it would compare to say the 6br family or 6.5mm rounds. Looking for good barrel life and accuracy so dont want a 6.5x284
 
6br or 6 dasher if you like making brass,
i see results for 600 with straight 6br.
