does any one think a 6mm br remington can be competative with the 6mm ppc given they would use the lapua cases?t j jackson stated he thought so in an interview done i p s a few years ago.

Yep

Fred Hascuster shot his way into the hall of fame with one shortened .100 some years ago. I shot next to him at the supershoot once and he shot targets every bit as good as the ppc's all around him

In it's 1.560 Factory length, you are probably leaving too much on the table. But, as was noted, if you shorten the case to where it has roughly the same capacity as a 6PPC, it shoots like a 6PPC.

Of course, the big question is, why go through the hassle of all that case forming when the 6PPC is there for the taking.........jackie
