6MM BR or 6MM PPC

OK, just getting started and all I see out there is 6mm BR . I have just got myself a 6mm PPC and am just getting started in some long range shooting . Did I get the right thing . This is a custon gun came with 2 extra barrels.One is a Krieger and Shilen . With lots of goodies, some stuff I have no idea what it is for.

What distances do you plan to shoot? What are the twist rates of the barrels you have? The 6PPC is not known for long distance shooting, it is primarily used for short range (100-300 yds) where it excels. With fast twist barrels and heavier bullets the range can be increased. The 6 BR with fast twist barrels is an excellent long range (to 1000 yds) choice.
