I have a high wall built in this caliber. Can anyone shed light on its viability. I also have loading dies and cartridges. Thanks for your help.

+1 on getting a hold of Dave Tooley. I have some 6mm American cases formed from .30 American. The .30 American was just .30-30 Win with a small primer, done on high quality Federal brass. Most guys turned the rim and cut an extractor groove so they'd work in .308 or PPC bolt faces.

The 6mm American is very similar to the 240 Coyote #2 cooked up by Harold Broughton back in the '80's.
That case's capacity is very close to a 6BR, except it is smaller in OD and longer.

I put a Coyote together in 1984 when the big PPC brass shortage was on. I have had sporadic periods of greatness with it, but usually prolonged periods of mediocrity. So much for trying to beat the PPC.
