What Ranges have pits and what ranges use clay birds for sighters ?
The reason I make this inquiry is that the rule change made by the NBRSA
requires both types to post only one record target on the target frame without giving consideration to the extra time delay inherent in the non pit range operation.

Al, Yes Billy and I intend to be there . It is interesting that no one has responded about the IBS 600 yd Ranges. I know that the VHA Range in So.Dakota is a no pit range and they are holding their 3rd National Championships this year...

Are there any non-pit ranges that hold NBRSA tournaments? I can't think of any. Is VHA one? Maybe Ohio?

Ray, the Upper Nisqually Sportsman Club (UNSC) a no pit range has held NBRSA 600YD Matches in the past. They currently are holding club matches until a new match director is found.

Ray,
If by VHA you mean Varmint Hunters 600yd range at Ft. Pierre, they are IBS and have no pits. It is nonetheless a very nice range.
