What's the concensus on the 142 sierra mk vs the 140 berger vld ?

None of you guys have tried both and had a preferance ??????
 
The thick jacket 140 Bergers would be my starting point but, all barrels are different. Try both, feed it what it wants. A buddy shoots RL-22 with the 140 Bergers in his NT Nk. 6.5x284 and the rifle hammers.
 
I just got some 140gr berger vld's and reloader 22 and would like to try this combination out. What charge do you start at? Eric
