I'm new here guys, but experienced in loading techniques.
I have recently started working with a HBR rifle chambered for 30x48. My attempts at searching for dies, drawings, or even general info has yielded little to nothing useful.
I have formed cases from 308 Win for it with modified dies that work OK, but I'm sure a proper die set would be much more convenient. I'm also assuming that there may be multiple versions floating around, but I can barely find mention of it anywhere.
Any info would be much appreciated.

The 48mm versions have been unusual - the various 30x47s being the most common. Is your chamber simply a short .308, or, a modified shoulder angle/neck-length? There are so many variations, that custom dies are the norm. More info may prove helpful. RG

It appears to simply be a shortened 308 Win with chamber cut for a .3315 neck. It appears that 300 Savage cases would work for case-forming but I have plenty 308s available, so I've used them. I've sized the case head to .466 for easy chambering with a modified 308 small base die. The rifle is twisted 1-in-14".
My searches for any info have returned very little.
I will be working with this rifle soon, beginning with suggested starting data from similar capacity cartridges like the 30x47s. I thought someone here might have ideas on where I might find any info.

Sounds like you know all you need to know to shoot the rifle - be careful. Specifically, what are you looking for?

I was just curious about anyone else's experience with this chambering and medium twist rate.
I shoot several other wildcats, in both rifle and handgun, but usually find referrences and discussions much easier.
Load development will begin as soon as the new range is completed.
I appreciate the replies.

If you have them, the following, in no particular order, will be good powders to test: H-322(Extreme); H-4895; Win. 748; Win. 760 (with heavier weights - 150 Gr. and up); N-133; N-135; N-140. RG
