my 30BR with 112-118 gr bullets at about 2950 fps, zeroed at 100 yds, needs about 10-12 inches elevation at 300 yeards over the 100 yd zero depending on temp and air density.

At 3050 fps I need and 115 Eubers with a 100 yd zero I need:
23 1/8 min clicks at 300 yds
68 1/8 Min clicks at 500 yds

10-12" from 100-300 yds?, I think you need more powder:D 1" from 1-200 yds 2" from 2-300 yds. curt

thanks guys my other question is what would be the best way to get brass

A 30 br would be the most efficient in a pistol length barrel of the three but your choice should be made on what you're going to use the gun for mostly.

Brass is a cinch. 6 br lapua brass run over a mandrel of the desired size.

Curt...

3 inches from 1 to 3 is 3x3=9 inches of actual hold over at 300 vs 100....I must be shooting an old slow lot of H4198!
