30 BR seating depth ?

There isn't one. Start with a full value, push back jam length and work back " in to the case" until your groups are consistent. Thats what i Do. Do this with 33.7gr of 4198. Once you find a good seating depth then play with the powder. Just my opinion. Lee

Skeet, what bullet weight do you use with your 33.7 of 4198?

thanks!!!! savageman

My barrel likes the Euber 115s with 35.0/H4198 at .010" into the lands. Previously used Euber 118s with 34.8/H4198 but he no longer makes that bullet and the "trend" is to lighter bullets.

Try .006" into the lands from where you can just barely detect lands marks on the bullet in your "Dummy" round. Adjust your powder by .02g until you have zero groups. If your barrel is any good, you can get there. From my experience, the Jam most folks use is allready .15" into the lands. The nice part of the .006 " I mentioned is you will be able to remove a loaded round without the bullet sticking and I have almost always found my best accuracy at the .006" setting.
