Have been shooting 70 grain bullets with RL-15, 4831. Have now received some 90 grain berger's and would like to use the same powder since I have more of it then others. Has anyone been shooting the 90 grain bullets? Have a 26" remington barrel with a 1-10 twist and will shoot 200 yards 90% of the time. The scope is a leupold 8.5 x 25. Would like any input, Thanks craig

I don't see why you..............

couldn't continue to use these powders. What is stopping you?? You'll run into a new seating depth consideration, you should consult some loading manuals to get an idea as to charges, you may want to try a magnum primer. With the .243 numerous times the groups will get better & better, then one runs out of capacity, if you drop back about two grains, substitute a mag. primer & increase the charges gradually, you'll find the grouping ability you desire. Yup, even benchrest shooters should have some loading manuals; even though the disciplines are far apart, there are at times benefits;):)
