222 brass?

Al Nyhus

"It'll never work!"
For anyone messing with the 222 (if any).....thoughts on brass? I have a nice LV Panda with two 222 bbls chambered by Kelbly that I'm going to shoot to determine how they are. Lapua seems the obvious choice but the early stuff was less than stellar. Thanks in advance. -Al

I have been using Winchester brass with no complaints. Cabela's has it for $35.99 per 100. Using a Lee collet die, 52 grain SMK's, 19 grains IMR 4198 and Federal 205M primers it's sub-MOA for five shots out of a pillar bedded Remington 700 BDL with sporter weight barrel.
