22 br or not

i just got my two barrels (6.5 creedmoor and 20 vartarg both 16 1/4") for my encore. i've been thinking on what my new barrel should be. i think it will be a 22 br with a 24" in encore. it will take a while, theres a crossbow i'm thinking about(used to use a bear compound bow, stroke says a crossbow). the 20vt should go out to 200-250yards, i figure 250-500yards the 22 br could do it. (groundhogs foxes, and coyotes and informal range time)

but, theres always a but, i would like to find out if someone has a better cartrige than you. 20 tac, 20 br, 20 titan, 22-6mm, 22-243middlestead, 22-250, 22dasher or anything.

wildcats and standerd and 24-26" barrel in t/c encore. whatever you want! i still waiting and still have a little while to go. 22 br should be it or is it!!!

You owe yourself a 22BR.... the 22BR actually DOES what the 22-250 wishes it could. With light bullets the BR will outperform cases as big as the 22-250 on all accounts.

That said, you'll never realize the inherent accuracy potential of a 22BR in an Encore so it's kindofa' wash. Pick one, they'll all do justice to the encore platform.

Barrel life will be better with the BR
