Anybody ever tried IMR 4320 in a 22-243 seems like by looking @ quickload you get 100% powder burn ans I don't think it would blast the throat as bad as IMR4350, H4350 or N160
 
I've been thinking about trying it lately. Since you asked, I'll go home tonight and start. Currently using H4350 for my hunting load. My rifle has a slow twist barrel(1-15"). I've never used anything hevier than 60 grains. I thrive on 50's at 4400fps.
I have a range in my yard, so I'll tell you what initial impressions are tomorrow.
 
I have always used H4350 as well with molly 80gr matchkings. I thought the 4320 would be better due to being a ball powder with 100% burn. The 4350 blasts the throat so much due to only having about a 95 too 96 % burn rate. Let me know how it turns out:D

IMR 4320 is not a ball powder it's stick
 
Pet loads?

I have a .22-.243 Middlested that I haven't shot in some time but have been thinking of dragging it back out and starting over on load development.

Anyone have any pet load info to share?

It's on a Mark X action, Douglas 1X12" bbl.

All of my loads are for 75 to 80 gr bullets I have a 1:8 twist. You might want to try reloadersnest.com they have load dat for the 22-243
 
I have tried one load sence I had my rifle built. Reloader25 with 80 gr.sierra
