We will be holding the 21st Annual Ga. IR 50/50 50yd. Championships on 8-22 through 8-24-14. We will have the first ever Ga. State Sporter Championship on 8-22-14. This was a late add and there will be no HOF points or plaques. Winners will receive List points, Winner pins, and certificates. Lunch will be served on all three days. Plaques will be awarded for First place in the 3-GUN and Unlimited matches. Please let me know if you plan to attend. S. Ga. Boy

Catfish shoot

Rumor has it that there are already 18 to 19 shooters that will be in attendance. Could possibly be more! I have also heard that someone is putting up several hundred dollars in cash for the first place winners of each match. Can't win if your not there, so come on down to Georgetown, Ga and do some shooting. The food on Saturday is worth the trip!:cool:

Fiddler is right...it is looking like we are going to be blessed with a good crowd of shooters. We have had $200 donated, and it will be given away as follows: The shooter who guesses closest to the winning 3-GUN AGG. on Saturday and Sunday will each receive $100. (You can only win once) The usual fish fry on Sat. and BBQ on Sun., don't know about Fri. yet. S. Ga. Boy

Bob, it's great to hear that you and Evan are both coming. We'll start at 9 AM Eastern on all three days. DIRECTIONS: Take HWY. 82 East from Georgetown, Ga. At The Corner Store, take RIGHT onto HWY. 39 South towards Ft. Gaines, Ga. Take the FIRST paved LEFT after crossing bridge over railroad. (Bridge is 1 mile from Corner Store) take LEFT at 4-way STOP. Range will be 1.5 miles on LEFT behind old barn.
 
Tough competition.....

The competition stiffens....Keith and Carolyn Lovan are coming all the way from Indiana to join the fun. If you've ever shot with Keith, you know how difficult he is to beat. Let's hope the gnats bother him enough to throw him off his game!..

We held the first ever GEORGIA SPORTER CHAMPIONSHIP today. The wind started off gentle but it seemed to fool everybody on at least a shot or two. It got a little more breezy as the day went on. Today started off "warm" and ended up "really warm." The breeze was welcomed. Mike Cameron was all warmed up when he got out of his truck. Bill Smith was the only one who could prevent a "sweep" today. Thanks to all who helped and Congrat's to the winners.

The 21st. Annual catfish shoot is history and everybody is on their way home. The breeze was a little stronger today but there wasn't as much switching as yesterday. The scores were high and close. Mickey Law shot a blistering 250-20X this morning.Bill Smith won $100 for guessing closest to the winning 3-GUN AGG. Yesterday and Mickey Law won the $100 today. Thanks to all who helped with the match.
