We need a full report (day-by-day) of how many, and who (big names and wannabees). Don't skimp on the details, please.weather was cool an easy// not so sure thursday and friday will be as nice
Got scores? I checked the FB secret site nothing.so today the weather was fine....well i lie.i only shot lite gun fo the match, so sat am and sunday from lunch and on. yep heavy guns in the am had some wind, and by lite gun time it was pretty mild. gary should have stats out tomorrow...i did have on nice 4 shot group at 200,,,but you know how that goes.
Oh! I was told by the NBRSA Pres. to download results to NBRSA site. At the same time, it can be downloaded to BC.the answer is that mr o'cock gets paid nothing, but does a great job of producing data for the az benchrest shooters.
if i recall correctly there 58 shooters in light gun and 55 in heavy...that is a lot of data to crunch, so give him some time. i believe i was a great 42 place in light... i died on my last 2 200 yd targets.
well gary does NOT run the matches. gary is often a referee and a competitor, when not building rifles. the confusing part is there is one organization that is the BENCHREST SHOOTING CLUB, and a diff org that puts on the BENCHREST MATCHES ( ben avery benchrest shooters vs az benchrest) it would not work without both!Oh! Steve Lee does a great job of this.
And we do Thank, Gary O'Cock for running matches. This sounded like a fun Tournament. Lots of people and all that.....
I think that's standard. Isn't it? Ya got "The club". Then you got the BR shooters.....sometimes it's the same people, running club and Tournaments. sometimes it's separate. Shelby County was like that sorta. the guy running the matches was not even a member. But, that club was all involved. Shooters didn't have to move target frames, score targets, etc. just show up and shoot. Well, the steak cookout was all shooters. They have breakfast and lunch. Sometimes something on Sat. Bad thing about Sat food, there is a really good Barbeque place in town.well gary does NOT run the matches. gary is often a referee and a competitor, when not building rifles. the confusing part is there is one organization that is the BENCHREST SHOOTING CLUB, and a diff org that puts on the BENCHREST MATCHES ( ben avery benchrest shooters vs az benchrest) it would not work without both!
not the same, ben avery is a state facility with both public and club ranges. the benchrest club shoots on the benchrest range. i believe the match org was a financial issue, but i am a new comerI think that's standard. Is that the range that Harry Reed paid for? I saw a pic a few years ago. Harry Reed and Wayne Lapierre. Strange I thought those 2 guys hated each others guts.not the same, ben avery is a state facility with both public and club ranges. the benchrest club shoots on the benchrest range. i believe the match org was a financial issue, but i am a new comer
