2023 UBR 100/200 Nationals

The UBR Nats begin tomorrow. Want to wish everyone safe travels both ways and good luck this weekend. I look forward to seeing everyone this afternoon. Somewhere around 100 guns registered. Not sure of the latest tally. I think there were a few late cancellations and maybe a few late entries, too. I think they had a 120 gun cap on it. IIRC, we had 111 last year. Would like to beat that but it is what it is either way. It'll be a good turnout and I fully expect a great time to be had by all.

I'm gonna try my best to post semi live results. As you all know, easier said than done while shooting a match. The crew normally does a good job keeping scores posted timely. If so, I'll be posting them here as best I can...and maybe a few pics along the way.

The infamous weatherman is predicting great weather...should be some good scores again.

This match is an absolute blast. I hope you'll plan to make it to one soon!--Mike
 
After two... pics are slow loading for some reason..kinda randomly. But I think we'll get there. Great time and still a few clean so far. Squirreley conditions. Looks better than it is.

Not sure why uploads are acting silly but I'll keep at it as best I can

Gonna take a shower an meet with some others for a meal and libations but I'll try to give a short report when I get back.

Man, what a great day of shooting. We had a little bit of everything weather wise. Overall, weather was gorgeous but we had mostly light and switch wind, mostly cloudy with times of bright sun. A few raindrops but really just a good day with conditions that were tougher than they looked for most of the day.

Congrats to Steve, Scott, Joseph and Hope in their respective classes. Yes, Steve put on a show with a the sole perfect 264 score in custom and a losing 263 in Unlimited, as it was Scott Mason, with a perfect 264 in Unlimited for the hard earned win there. Still, a 264 and a 263 with two different rifles was a statement from Steve and he's always tough at 200, which is on tomorrow.

The crazy thing is how tight things are. I'd say there's still 30 people with a real shot tomorrow to win it all in custom class and maybe 18 or so in unlimited. Just crazy! Tomorrow will be interesting.

Hope yall can make this match next year if you aren't here. This is what the game is all about right here!

Sorry for the struggles getting things to post fluidly today. Still not sure what's up with that but I'll do the best I can again tomorrow and hope you all enjoy the thread and updates
