Club Coordinator
On August 5th and 6th Tacoma Rifle and Revolver held their Northwest Regional match for the Sporter and Light Varmint Class. This contest would determine the winner of the Del Bishop Trophy as well.
We began with our Sporter contest at 100 yards on Saturday morning, which was won by Steve Kostanich with a .2150" agg. That afternoon at 200, with some challenging conditions Jeff Lewis won the yardage with a .2666" agg.
Steve Kostanich won the Sporter grand with a .2463" agg
Sunday brought more mirage and tricky conditions for us.
We shot the Light Varmint class at 200 yards in the morning. Dan Kjelland shot a .2275” agg. to win the yardage.
At 100 yards, Steve Kostanich won the agg. with a .1924", Steve Kostanich held on to win the Light Varmint aggregate with a .2194" aggregate.
Steve led by quite a bit from his strong performance on Saturday, and held on to win the 2 gun with a .2329" agg.

The Del Bishop Trophy is the winner of the 4 Regional matches held during the season. This is the aggregate winner for Sporter, Light Varmint, Heavy Varmint, and Unlimited.
This year Jeff Lewis was the winner of the Northwest Regional 4 gun with a .2303" agg. Steve Kostanich followed in second with a .2526" agg, and Dan Kjelland placed third with a .2685" agg.
