I had the privilege of shooting beside my friend ,Chris Anderson today at Little Rock, AR shooting 1000 yard F-Class. Chris's first string on a clean barrel was pretty good, but only a warm-up to what was coming...On his second string, Chris posted a 200/13X, tying the current national record...not being finished or satisified, Chris fired another perfect 200 on his next string with 10X's...As far as I'm aware, no one has ever fired back to back 200's at 1000 yards on the new 1/2moa targets.

Chris perform this task not with a big ole 300WSM, 284 Shehane, 284 win or 6.5x284, but with a 6 Dasher pusing a Berger 105vld with Varget powder. The weather was HOT today, winds light ,but switchy....

Great shooting Chris!!!

I was pulling targets next to Chri's target when he shot the above 200's.

Great shooting Chris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is shooting again today - I sure hope to see he shot a 600/600.

Very fine shooting, from the sounds of it!

Sometimes I swear the 'light' conditions are more frustrating than the howling gales... you can get so close to perfect, but there's usually just enough going on out there to make it unbelievably difficult... sounds like he's getting pretty close to it, though.

Only one thing for him to do so he doesn't get bored shooting cleans - trade in the F/Open rig for a proper F/TR rifle! ;)
