I'd forgotten about that article! I think Johnny Webb got that fellow to come report the match...and he did pretty good not knowing ANYTHING about Benchrest shooting.

For anything as mundane as benchrest shooting to be given space in the Tuscaloosa newspaper in the middle of November (particularly the day after Alabama shut-out LSU) suggests that Johnny must have had a LOT of influence back then.
