    Garmin Xero® C1 Pro Chronograph

I jumped in and bought one and It works great. It has about a three minute learning curve and It has not missed a shot sense I have been using it. I have used many different types of chronographs over the years including a ballistic pendulum that I built when I was in collage and this one is...

Does cleaning brass cases help accuracy?

I ask this question to those of you who shoot centerfire benchrest because I have watched and listened to a demonstration and talk after a meeting with friends at the San Angelo Gun Club. We were shown different ways to clean brass until it shined. I have not shot serious Centerfire Benchrest...

People, This thread was started by showing a video that shows how some people from one party have tainted our election system. Why is this serious thread being dragged to the gutter like this? Our democracy is in peril. Get serious! Concho Bill

What a shame! "I'm blaming US, We The Sheeple of The Dis-United State of America." Al You go Al. I watch some of our "elected" officials lie to us daily. They don't care what we voters think because they owe their positions to other interests. Shame on them for what they are doing to us and...

    An old 30 W. C. F. bullet

Mort, That is an interesting story and it leads me into a story about a case I found as a teenager in about 1955 or 1956. We were starting to form a foundation for a house in a new subdivision at the time and in the dust I found a well preserved copper 45/70 case. It was marked on the base 8...

    An old 30 W. C. F. bullet

Thanks Pete, That helped a lot. This cartridge was made between 1896 and 1902. That is good information. Now I know it has a protected primer with a brass ring around it and a W stamped on the primer and a nickel sleeve around the lead core bullet. I still do not know much about the powder...

    An old 30 W. C. F. bullet

There are people on this site who know a little bit about everything gun related so help me on this. I have come by some very old cartridges marked 30 W. C. F. made by W. R. A. Co. I know this is an old 30-30 name but let me tell you more about these old cartridges. They have a funny looking...
