It is a crap shoot... Different rifles like different velocities, and sometimes the same velocity in different groups shoot different/// Buy several different lot number, shoot it and the buy what shoots best, IF it is still available,, It is called the "GREAT AMMO CHASE"..

The EGW rail mounts on the barrel, so if you have a heavy barrel on your 52-D, it should work fine... Dave

I need another scope for a new BR rifle, and now that Weaver is no more, I am trying to decide between at Mueller 40X56 scope and a Sightron Sii 36X42 .. Has anyone tried the Mueller and if so, what did you think of it.. I know that quite a few competitors use the Sightron, so I am needing some...

AND... don't forget that you will have to join the "great ammo chase" and your ammo will run you anywhere from $1400 to $1900 a case, depending on what ammo you choose... Rimfire BR is a great game, but you need some deep pockets to play effectively... \ Dave

It is a Rim Thickness Gauge.. It was used with a dial caliper to check the Rim thickness of .22 LR rounds.. You put the round in the large end and then used the dial caliper to measure the length to the bottom of the gauge.. I had one for years and it was pretty accurate... Nice find.. Dave

JEFF I have a lilja barrel on my 40X BR rifle and I love it... It was installed by Gene Davis and it is a killer barrel.. It is a 26" 1-16.5" Twist with a Reverse taper.. I would highly recommend the Lilja.... JMHO Dave
