    Spotting scopes ?

If You Are-- Going to use a camera tri-pod, the hot set up is to get some tent stakes or similar to secure the legs to the ground. Use short bungee cords to connect. Also get a bungee cord long enough to reach from the top of the tri-pod to a heavy weight at ground level. The wind can blow one...

    Controlled Round Feed

Mauser -CRF Yes, the extractor can be modified to "jump" the rim. Some very judicious grinding/stoning is required. It is not a project for the heavy handed or fumble fisted though. Should you decide to give it a try, do it on a spare. The difference of working or becoming trash is sort of like...

    Kalifornia Gunsmith

O-K, I live here-- And it irks me when someone misspells or incorectly pronounce the name of this state. The correct spelling should be Kalifornicacha. As we are already being pollinated by our elected officials. You can probably figure out the enunciation. Land of the over educated...

Al -Lynn - & everybody- After you lap your rings so that your bore sight and cross-hairs on a optically centered scope coincide at 100 yds. the best way to bed is use a 1" dia. rod. [if 1" dia. scope] Use release agent on the rod. I usually only bed the bottom half of the rings. Do Not over...

Now that I have your attention-- Recently Al in Wa. and I discussed briefly on one of the forums about the use of epoxy, specifically "Simpson Set 22", desinged for holding anchor bolts or such in masonary or concrete. Seating Depth

Just a side note-- For those not using specialized "B R" dies, if you set the die to contact the shell holder you may be crimping the case neck into the bullet. I know, I know, but check your die to make sure it doesn't have a crimping shoulder in it. Hope I didn't crimp somebody's style...

    The significance of tenon diameter

Now- I'm confussed? If you tighten the bbl shoulder up against the action face or load distributing washer,[recoil lug] wouldn't the flank of the tennon threads pull the flank of the threaded bushing tight to the flank of the threads in the action? I don't understand the "torque the bushing"...
