    Farley Mfg. Out of Business?

Farley Mfg. doesn't respond to multiple emails over a couple of months and Mike's phone is disconnected. It appears they may have closed the doors and turned off the lights. So what do you do for parts?

Gene, Mickey laid it on thick and heavy today..........but I learned one thing! I'm not shooting on bench 1 again. I believe there's some bad karma or something with that bench since Gary D. left. Jim

I saw Bob Barnhart pushin' a shopping cart!

Yep!......it's true. Today I saw Bob Barnhart pushing a shopping cart full of "wood" from the Alabama State ARA shoot. The wind was the usual switchy, twisty, gusting hard enough to blow over wind flags...........the usual for Magic City. Those of you who have shot there know what I mean...

Alabama State ARA shoot, May 18

Mark, Thats a good question and I wish I knew the answer. Maybe some of the other travelers on here who use a GPS can provide the coordinates. The range is located on Narrows Rd., 2.3 miles from the intersection of Hwy. 79. Traveling north west on Narrows Rd. from Hwy 79, the range is on the...

    Magic City ARA match

Magic City Gun Club, Birmingham Alabama will be shooting a 5 target ARA match on Sunday 3/16/08. There was some confusion about the Benchrest program at MCGC and whether it would continue. Those issues have been ironed out to the best of my knowledge and I intend to continue the scheduled...

Here's my solution for compressed air

Don, I tried that calculator before I posted the question, and you're right.......it didn't work. I haven't been able to find anything on the web that answers the question. I guess I'm not smart enough to figure it out. I know that a cubic foot takes up less volumn at 6000 psi than it does...

Here's my solution for compressed air

Can anyone tell me the answer to this question? First here are the assumptions: 442 cu ft tank @ 6000 psi (main tank) 88 cu ft tank @ 4500 psi (portable tank) minimum usable tank pressure- 3000 psi (portable tank would be refilled when the pressure drops to 3000 psi) all tanks are filled...

Here's my solution for compressed air

Ron, I agree with your regulator suggestion. My local AirGas dealer is looking into pricing on a suitable reg. I'm thinking about one of the 4500 PSI tanks from Joe, which I would fill from the large 442 cu ft @6000 PSI tank. I could take the smaller tank to the matches and fill my AG...

Here's my solution for compressed air

I have looked high and low for a convienent source of compressed air and found zip. Local Fire Dept. wont fill it a tank for liability reasons. Dive shop 45 miles, one way.......have to leave the tank overnight. No paint-ballers in the area. Even looked into a compressor as Don suggested...
