    Neo vs Mini?

Hold off on your purchase for a few weeks and evaluate the rest that Rod Brakhage will bring to the market. He currently produces the 'Rodzilla' top for the Seb products that allows for rotation of the top to easily align the front bags to the target and the top tracks fantastically. He will...

What action configuration is preferred for F Unlimited

RB/RP no eject for me. It is easier for me to keep my eyes in the scopes (spotter for left eye, rifle for right) and watch conditions while I load and wait for score. With working both hands I am not coordinated enough in the prone position to keep my head stable with both hands/arms working...

    carbon removers

I have used both. I don't find any difference in effectiveness. I use BoreTech C4 just because I use their other products and it keeps ordering simple. The most effective carbon remover I have found is bronze:).

    Mirage

^^^^^^ Yep, still there as well as the optical displacement of the target but dialing back, to some shooters, helps reduce the appearance of the image distortion and makes holding an aim point easier. I am in that camp. Some don't dial back and hold the average position of the shimmering aim...

Or...at the F class nationals/Southwest Nationals if there is one close to you. Bartlein usually runs a $300 special if you order in advance.

Mark 4 LRT 16 power fixed ( TMR Reticle)

Reticle thickness could also be a concern as it may obscure a bit of the X-ring. I also suggest a 25x minimum mag for F-class. I usually shoot at 50-60x but as low as 30x is not a real impediment even in very low mirage conditions. Using 16x magnification would not likely affect your...

It will serve you well. One caveat with cameras....use a lighter background target such as orange/white/light blue unless you are using it for F-class practice and need a regulation center. Using black can make it hard to see the holes in certain glare conditions. My TargetVision (now a...

    Negative!!!

My mother in law, 88 years of age, had COVID about 1 month ago and was able to recover by herself at home. She was weak as hell for about 10 days but was on her riding lawnmower less than 3 weeks after first symptoms cutting 4 acres of grass. She has zero underlying health issues. However, a...

Well, I Guess COVID-19 Has Finally Got Marilyn and Me

What can be said with certainty is that there is an unprecedented push for a vaccine for this particular Corona virus so if a vaccine is possible, odds are very high that one, or more, will be developed.

Since you have the ability to shoot out to 900yds conveniently I suggest either buying a Shotmarker target or a Longshot target camera and practice on the appropriate F-class center at 600 or 900/1000. Do it when the wind is ripping and you will be miles ahead by the time you enter a formal...

In SE North Carolina Coastal Carolina Rifle Club hosts High Power Prone matches with F-class at 600-1000yds at USMC Stone Bay Rifle Range and also matches are held at Camp Butner. Not much else close to you. Tennessee and Georgia have regular F-class but significant travel would be involved...

    Triggertech vs Jewel?

The TT Diamond is actually a very good trigger. Contrary to Al's opinion, I think it is on par with my Jewels but not as much play in the shoe. I also find it on par with the Bix's and Flavio Fare's I have. I have only dry fired one TT Diamond but the colleague that uses them shoots VERY well...

The 7mm Geramo......Going to Shoot It Tomorrow.

RL-23 has been the best for me in the 6.5 x55 BJAI/142gr Precision Ballistics as well as in my .284 Win/ 184gr hybrid. I think it might be a workable powder in that case with a 7mm bullet.

A Blast From The Past.....45 years Ago!

I live up the road from M.C. in Lafayette. A good friend of the family raced boats back in the late 60's and into the '70's. His Name was Rodney DeRouen. He led me down the slippery slope of handloading for precision hunting/paper punching rounds way back when. Ultimately it culminated in...
