Not sure if asked before...if so point in right direction...thanks. How many rounds through your barrel before you notice degradation in your accuracy? I have a Shillen 4 groove ratchet barrel with 5909 rounds through it. Granted it really still shoots fantastic. I've been told over 50-70...

The rifle used has a Holeshot 2500X action, Shillen ratchet barrel, Harrell's tuner, Jewell trigger blue printed, Nightforce 15x55 competition scope, in a Cerus F-TR stock, SEB Joy-Pod bi pod, using Lapua ammo.

Michigan is a bit far, I'm in central PA. Appeal to Smallbore F Class...I shoot a lot of center fire F Class. Shooting smallbore using the same set-up seems to be a great way to shoot more without recoil and hopefully get more shootets interested in the sport. Where someone could shoot whatever...

If I understand correctly...you have a 10mm block bedded in your stock? Thank you for the information

When bedding the 2500X do you pillar all 3 action screws? Would you put a block of some kind in the stock for the cut out on the bottom? Or just bedding material? What are the extra holes for ... one in front of trigger group screw unthreaded and another aft of the front action screw and threaded?

With a new barrel... Do you start testing right away ? Unlike center fire with barrel break-in procedures of your choice... is there any kind of break-in with a new match rimfire barrel done by a reputable smith? Thanks again

Where can you shoot around or close to central PA that allows rimfire F Class along side of prone matches that are sanctioned ? Been looking and not much out there. Redding,PA has one but not sanctioned. Thanks again

After talking with a few folks that have left PM's... it's looking like I'm going to take some of the good advice posted here and listening to others...going to try the 2500x and a Shillen ratchet barrel. George...What needs to be done to the 2500x ? What barrel contour is recommended? Thanks...
