Did Cecil Tucker ever do his modification on the variable power Leupolds or just the fixed models?

I have 2 of the older NXC 8-32s that I use for informal bipod competitions and on a groundhog rifle. I've looked at the newer ones like the ATACR but they are too big and busy for my liking.

I'm trying to learn here and sorry if this is a remedial question but how would one go about determining the length of fall for a firing pin?

Any idea when this new fella may be up and running making the Pumpkin again? I have one of the turners myself but need a couple mandrel sets, 7mm and .22 cal specifically.

Bob Rosen ran a 6.5x55 GWI in a light gun for a while and I think he did quite well with it, said it was the easiest round to tune that he ever messed with. Unfortunately I had a heavy hunting rifle built in one and could get it to shoot in a bucket so your mileage may vary.

Thanks Dale, I went ahead and ordered the 1/8" ID ones off Amazon, seems that the smaller diameter works best for me and the 1/8" ID 3/8" OD was closest to what I was looking for, going to make a stand for it and see how it does.

I've been poking around on the Internet for the past day or so trying to find a source for some tubing to make a drop tube. I have one that came from Sinclair a while back with an OD of 1/2" and ID of 1/8", I'd like to find something close to that but the the best I've seen so far is 3/8" OD and...

Also as an update, the older model I had borrowed would not fit inside a 20 cal barrel with the 90 deg attachment but the new one I just purchased fits inside a 20 cal just fine, which is really nice considering I have a couple 20s.

Received the Hawkeye in today, has the green eyepiece where the one I had borrowed has a black eyepiece. Have to say the one I received with the green eyepiece is much clearer than the one I borrowed in the past so I have to say I'm more than happy with mine. Thanks for the help.

Thanks guys, sounds like the Hawkeyes are still the best option (short of medical grade equipment) for a borescope. Recon the order for one will go in shortly.
